This is my take on the Harajuku style of Japan. I wanted to create a fun, cute look. I started with a bright colored tutu and then added a cute butterfly shirt. Then I added knee high socks which add a school girl feel to the look. Finally I added a ton of jewelry and bows in my hair. All together they create a cute, young and fun look that (hopefully) makes you smile and feel young and free.
welcome!
I have been creating clothes and designing looks for many years now so this is a blog featuring my designs and my thoughts about the fashion world. I hope to add new pictures and thoughts at lest once a week. If you like the designs that you see please follow my blog!

The first picture is a dress that I got a bunch of years ago at a yard sale. The second picture is the “after” photo. I tried the dress on recently and found out it didn’t really fit me so I turned it inside out and modified it to fit me. I love to take clothes that don’t fit me correctly and change them up so they look good. It creates a wonderful challenge. This dress reminds me of a burlesque/saloon girl dress, sexy yet confident.

A Dress With Pants
This baby doll dress was originally a pair of glam-ed up jeans. I cut them up, added some fabric and re-sewed it into a dress. I added a belt to glam it up more! I absolutely love taking clothes that don’t fit me anymore and creating something new. I think that doing this adds more individuality to clothing then just making a piece from scratch.
