Semi Formal Dress or Sundress

This dress started as just a plain dark blue sundress. I bought it knowing i could do alot to it. I then decided that white lace and a yellow sash would look awesome. I also added yellow decorative stitching to the seems. This dress can be used as a sundress or a semi formal dress. This dress is for sale at etsy.com  

Professional Blue Dress

This piece started out as a blue shirt i feel in love with. I made and added a black skirt. I then made a black belt with silver cord by hand. This piece is perfect for going to the office yet it is sexy enough for a night out!  

"Run through the moss on high heals"

This post was inspired by a lyric in a song by Fever Ray which is quoted in the title. Link to the song here. I then drew from my memories as a child running through the woods and added some tribal aspects. I wanted something very earthy, like the raged brown top and leaves, yet a touch of high fashion which is represented in the make up, hair and shoes. The white dress ties it together as it is both earthy and high fashion.    

My Winter Clothes

So it's the middle of winter here in northern Vermont and I decided i wanted to wear shorts so this is how i wore them!

Danger, Danger

This post was inspired by the movie Sucker Punch, a few songs and some people that i know. This look represents the girl that is sexy, cute, beautiful, yet you do not want to mess with her. She is not overly aggressive but if she needs to protect herself then she can. I really like what i call the "sexy, strong girl" She can take care of herself, she does not need anyone to protect her. 

The Boyfriend Jeans

Here is what i call the "boyfriend look". The look is comprised of a par of baggie jeans and a cropped top. The baggie jeans are comfortable but not necessarily sexy so the cropped top balances the jeans out. This look is comfortable and sexy, with an edge of boldness.

Spring Look!!!!!!

When spring comes, it comes with warmer weather and the spring rains. This outfit has light layers and bright spring colors. The small jean jacket keeps the spring chill out and looks sporty. This is a perfect spring, bright and sporty outfit.

Another 80's Outfit

This outfit came about because there was an 80's night at the local club. i love 80's clothing, it is so bright and cheerful. this is a one piece dress with a blue mesh over lay, pink tights, and large necklaces and one leg warmer.

Tutu Dress

This dress i found and fell in love with but when i brought it home i found that it was a little plain for my liking so i decided to spruce it up with a pink belt that offsets the purple and black, then i threw a antique lace jacket that was passed down to me. The result was very satisfactory. This look is the perfect mix of new and old styles of clothes.

Dress and a T-shirt

This look is a fancy dress that i made into something you could wear on a more daily basses by adding a dull t-shirt. i also added a belt and leggings to add a little flair. You can take any one of your favorite fancy dresses and add a t-shirt and wear it out shopping or something of the sort. Its a great way to get some more wear time in on your dresses.
